To Save Documents Under the Z Drive:
1. Log in under your personal log-in and password.
2. After document is written, select “File” menu
3. Select “Save” option.
4. Interactive “Save As” screen appears
5. Activate the drop-down menu.
6. “Desktop” is the main heading.
7. Find “Homes on Samba” and select this option. For some students, this option will actually include your name.

Writing the Works Cited Page
When composing a Works Cited page for the conclusion of a narrative report, persuasive essay, compilation of statistics or charts, or any other type of research work a Works Cited page is a necessary component. The Owl at Purdue University provides background information and training on writing this page in what is called MLA style, one developed by the Modern Language Association, and selected by Harbor High School students for use at this school. The Owl provides examples of information to be included on your Works Cited page from all kinds of sources: books, books by more than one author, encyclopedias, magazines, and online sources. It also will give you tips on writing and research. You should find the information at The Owl extremely helpful when working on all aspects of a research paper. After clicking on the link, take your time reading the background information on research. This will help you as you take notes on your topic and prepare to put the information found into a readable format.
Also helpful is this bibliography compiler, called Easy Bib. Click on the link, register and create your own account, and you can begin inputting information that will compile into a Works Cited page. Remember: you need your own account, and you do need to save after every entry. I hope you enjoy web-based tool that helps you keep track of your bibliographic information. By recording regularly into Easy Bib, you can avoid losing information that you will need to access again in the research process. Landmark’s Son of Citation Machine is also a very helpful bibliography compiler.
